TVR® OPT celebrates its 10th Anniversary with the iconic revival of a timeless circular collection in Autumn/Winter 2022.

Sabae, Japan — TVR® OPT revisits the allure of small round glasses that date back to the 1920s for its latest TVR®532 Classic Circular collection, dropping in Autumn/Winter 2022 in conjunction with its 10th Anniversary. A fashion statement in the early 20th Century, these round glasses were originally made using authentic tortoise shells as well as gold.

Combining functionality and style in a bold design aesthetic, TVR® OPT takes to the drawing board three archival round eyeglasses from the 1960s found in its Sabae factory. From one piece of history to another and reviving the past for the present, TVR® OPT combines codes from three round eyeglasses to achieve the perfect design with impeccable details.

Timeless and evergreen, circular glasses have been a staple statement look for well-known architects and artists, including the likes of I.M. Pei and Le Corbusier. It is the most classic shape of eyeglasses, going back to the days when rounded lenses were only used for corrective purposes. Circle glasses are also the best complement for all face shapes, thanks to their curvature and symmetry.
